SCRIM FOAM

Scrim foam is a fabric-backed foam product widely used for padding, quilting, upholstery, headliners and backing in many types of interior applications. Using this as an underlay it softens seating and other hard and ridged interior areas.

The foam has a thin scrim laminated to one side, which protects the foam from tearing when sewn during upholstery. Commonly used in the automotive industry (cars / coaches / trains / boats) for interior seats, door cards, panels, roofing and much more to benefit from a professional finish that headlining material brings.

This material is a flame retardant, halogen-free product. Our scrim foam is in compliance with FMVSS 302 (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No: 302).
